This privacy policy (Privacy Notice or MatchMe Privacy Policy) governs the collection, use, disclosure, transfer or otherwise processing of your personal information by Yanara Consulting LLP (us, we, our, Company) in connection with the following services offered by the Company:
- The MatchMe mobile and web application (App),
- The website www.matchmeglobal.com
When you avail our Services, we may collect some information from you. By accepting the terms of this Privacy Notice, you hereby expressly provide your consent to us for the collection, usage, disclosure, transfer and otherwise processing of such information in the manner outlined in this Privacy Notice.
You have to be at least 24 years old to use the App and make any use of the Services. MatchMe does not knowingly collect any information about or market to children, minors or anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a child, minor or anyone under the age of 18 has registered with us and provided us with personal information, we will take steps to terminate that person’s registration. Please contact the Grievance Officer via email (details provided below) to notify us immediately.
We are committed to protecting the security of your information and safeguarding your privacy and this Privacy Notice inter alia sets out and clarifies the following:

- Why we collect such information
- How we use that information and who we share the information with

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
The information in the form on the website and for the app collected is in order to identify you, create your profile (once you sign up), allow other users to learn more about your preferences, offer marketing or Service offerings to you, including matchmaking, whether before or after you start using the App. We collect your pictures, preferences and interests in order to help other users identify you on your profile and to ensure that your profile is unique to your identification in connection with the matchmaking Services provided to you. Personal document is created after the screening call to have relevant information about you to further facilitate in the matchmaking process. This information will only be shared on need only basis.
Information is also collected to facilitate the process of payment to MatchMe
You may choose to provide your Aadhaar information to us for identification purposes. However, please note that this is not mandatory, and you may provide alternative identification documents such as Driver’s license, PAN card, Voter’s ID or passport. If you voluntarily choose to provide your Aadhaar information to us, you hereby expressly provide your consent to the collection and processing of your Aadhaar information by the Company for the purposes of identity verification and acknowledge that such Aadhaar information was voluntarily provided by you and may be shared with third-party service providers for the purpose of verifying your identity.
Miscellaneous:
We may also use the various categories of information listed on the app, where necessary for one or more of the following purposes:
- To comply with the Company’s legal obligations
- For the Company’s internal business purposes listed below:
- To communicate with you, such as to respond to and/or follow-up on your grievances, complaints, requests, inquiries, issues or feedback, and to provide customer service.
- To improve services of the App.
- For marketing and promotional purposes.
- To provide ancillary services.
- To conduct research and analytics
- To assist in internal investigations, voluntary probes, assessment of complaints, claims or allegations, audits, or to substantiate legal claims, and for proceedings.
Your Rights
You have the right to (a) access and review the information about the processing of your information; (b) seek correction, completion, updating or erasure of your information; (c) have your grievances resolved; and (d) nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of your death or incapacity. All request for any of these rights should be directed to the Grievance Officer (whose details are mentioned below ) appointed by the Company via email. We may ask you to take additional steps, including but not limited to re-verifying your account or creating a new account (or any other manner prescribed by the Company), in order to fulfill certain requests. This process may require submitting documentation demonstrating revised personal information, for which fresh verification may be conducted; if re-verification is not feasible, we may suggest deleting your account and creating a new profile to verify the updated data.
We will also inform you if we are unable to delete your information for any reason, particularly in case we require such information to continue providing Services to you or for any of the purposes listed in Section 2 of this Privacy Notice. You will at all times have the ability to delete your account, and if you choose to do so, we will delete all information you have provided to us in accordance with the MatchMe Privacy Policy, unless we are required to retain it by law.
If you have given your consent for the processing of your information for specific purposes, you can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting the Grievance Officer via email. Please note, however, that this may affect our ability to offer Services to you. In some cases, if we are not allowed to process your information, we may need to terminate the Services we provide to you, which may result in the deletion of your account by us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint via email with the Grievance Officer (details provided below), and subsequently to the Data Protection Board, in case your complaint remains unresolved.
Our Security Practices
We have implemented reasonable security measures and appropriate technical and organizational measures in line with legally required standards.
We adhere to industry-standard practices to safeguard personal data and regularly review and update our security protocols to mitigate risks and prevent data breaches. Moreover, access to your personal information is carefully managed within the Company and shared on a need-to-know basis. However, please understand that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will strictly control access to the information and will review such access control from time to time. We will retain and use your information until (a) the purpose of processing such information is achieved, and when the purpose is achieved, such information will be removed from our systems or anonymised; or (b) you withdraw your consent for the processing of such information in accordance with your rights mentioned above.
The Company may retain the information for a longer period if such retention is required or permitted by law.
How we Disclose/Transfer your Information
All information that we collect may be disclosed or transferred under the following circumstances, to the categories of entities identified below:
- Your information may be disclosed or transferred to vendors, service providers and other third-party entities engaged by the Company to provide services such as user registration, verification, and in-App communication;
- Your information may further be disclosed or transferred by such third-party entities engaged by the Company, to private entities such as educational institutions or employers, for the purposes of identity verification;
- Your information may be disclosed or transferred to payment service providers in order to process your payments in connection with the Services;
- Your information may be disclosed or transferred to dashboard and analytics vendors for the purposes of gathering analytics on the App and/or the website;
- Your information may be disclosed and transferred to respond to law enforcement requests or where required to be provided under applicable laws, court orders, or government regulations and
- Where we need to share your information with any other third parties, we will obtain your consent before doing so.
Amendments to this Privacy Notice
We may revise the Privacy Notice from time to time. Any such changes will be posted on our website www.matchmeglobal.com We may need your consent for material updates to this notice.
